Step 1
Initial contact and indicative pricing
After you
book your obligation-free consultation
, you will receive a call from our office to discuss your requirements. Our consultant will then visit your home to measure and review your roof space and complete the appraisal form. Based on this initial discussion, the estimate will provide you with a rough outline of your proposed project. This appraisal form will also become the basis of the designer’s brief.
Your consultant will come back to you with an indicative price for the works that you have discussed. This price will be an estimate only because usually both you and the consultant will not be completely sure of the final look of your project.
If that estimate is within your expectations, the consultant will discuss with you the option of getting some concept drawings done by our award winning designers. These plans will cost you between $1500 and $3000 depending on the complexity of your project. The plans are yours should you decide not to go ahead with the project.
If you would like to proceed with some concept drawings the consultant will invoice you and request a cheque for the designer’s fees.
The designer and your consultant will make a visit to your home and together you will flesh out a more comprehensive plan that can then be drawn.
When the concept drawings are completed the consultant will visit you and together you will sit down and review them and ensure that they meet your needs and expectations for the project. At this stage, typically there are a few minor changes discussed and then made to the concept drawings.
If the changes are more than minor, your consultant will give you a quote for the additional design work.
